Kundalini Yoga - Mind, Body, and Spirit

After my Kundalini Yoga teacher training, I realized I wasn’t in my body. My mind and spirit were strong because of all the meditation practice. I felt connected to others deeper than ever before, I felt aligned. But my body felt a bit neglected. Don’t get me wrong, there’s lots of physicality in Kundalini Yoga. I also did years of Muay Thai kickboxing, and put that in the back burner, while concentrating on my yoga practice. ⁣ •⁣ •⁣ So I begin boxing again, and running my dog every morning, intertwining the meditation and mindful practices I learned, plus balancing the need of a physical aspect to my everyday life. And my daily practice became more meaningful. The meditations got deeper, the acknowledgment of gratitude became more frequent. I was operating from a better place. ⁣ •⁣ •⁣ •⁣ So yes, meditate. Do it, and eat healthy, live life, be the best version of yourself. Also, see what you can do to balance it out so you’re not neglecting aspects of your life for something new, yet respecting and loving all your blessings at exactly when and where they appear in your life.
