The Mind and Meditation
“It is not meditation that stops the mind. It is the surrender of the mind to the soul, and the soul to Truth. It is when you prefer the word of Truth to the word of your own intellect.”—Yogi Bhajan
I’ve been proven wrong, had to re-approach my way of thinking. Poked, provoked. And old ways of thinking sometimes are no longer relevant to the new Aquarian Age we’re living in. I’ve transitioned from a NYC life of hustling to teaching yoga, and no one is interested in what prestigious school I went to, what big clients and contacts I have...because I’ve left that all in the Age of Pisces.
What mattered before was made clear as no longer relevant the moment I got true with my soul. The universe stripped that identity from me (pretty harshly) and here I am in my truth. So ask yourself, are you living the life you want and deserve?
Yes, we make sacrifices for the ones we love, and yes it’s not that easy to get out of a bad situation. But I’ll highlight one truth...if you even have the time to read this and you’re living in the first world, you’re not doing anyone any favors by living a life based on what you think society wants you to be, what your parents told you to do. You have a choice.
Take advantage of the time you have left on this earth and step fully into your calling. Your truth may be the gateway to contributing your best to the world, and making a real difference.
